About the couple

Jacob and Alyssa grew up states apart. Jacob from Georgia and Alyssa right here in Wisconsin. Alyssa’s best friend, and cousin of Jacob, matched them together when they all ended up at the same college in Minnesota. 

The engagement. 

In December of 2022 the couple were spending time with Jacob’s family in Georgia. While hiking the Appalachian Trail Jacob stopped to get some gloves from his backpack. Of course it wasn’t really the gloves he was looking for, but rather a ring to ask Alyssa to be his forever. 

The Big day

Jacob and Alyssa had previously been guests at The Hayloft for a friend's wedding. When it was their turn they remembered the venue and went to check it out for themselves. The fell in love with it all over again. The venue was perfect for their rustic look they envisioned for their big day.
