About the couple

High School foods class is where this love story begins. Charlie and Jamie were paired up to work on a project which forced a phone number exchange. Although hesitant to be paired with Charlie, who was known for not doing his share of the work, the two were in communication about the project which then led to more. 

In true Wisconsin style the couple's first date took place at Culvers. From there the couple has experienced many life curveballs and adventures. Including renting a home, buying a home, and then going long distance for a year while Charlie was on military duty in Texas. Through it all they have only grown stronger and they continue and enjoy  finding ways to spend quality time together. They look forward to what else the future holds!

The engagement. 

A trip to Brookefield Mall in mid December 2022 will be a day these two remember forever. As they were shopping Charlie told Jamie he wanted to buy a ring and popped the question. Jamie, confused but excited, said, ‘yes!’. Together they picked out a ring and left the mall with much more than they came with. 

The Big day

The couple knew they wanted a rustic wedding featuring plenty of fresh florals, outdoors and fresh air. They appreciated The Hayloft's atmosphere, delightful outdoor patio, and friendly staff.
