About the Couple
Marissa and Troy met 5 years ago. As the Best Man said perfectly in his speech: “Opposites really do attract. Troy is a simple man of few words, but everyone knows when Marissa is in the room.”
When Marissa isn’t working weddings at The Hay Loft, she works at Froedtert Hospital as a paramedic and in the Lab department. Troy spends his days ( and evenings) working as a lineman for WE energies.
The Engagement
Knowing that a marriage was in the near future - the engagement still came as a complete surprise. Just the two of them at home, enjoying their patio and dinner, is where Troy popped the question. The quiet evening quickly turned into a spur of the moment engagement party with their closest friends and family.
The Big Day
The Wedding was everything Marissa and Troy could have dreamed of. With 300 people, yummy food, good music, gorgeous decorations, and fun drinks what could make for a more beautiful day? The weather, always a stress factor for Wisconsin weddings, could not have been more perfect.
