It wouldn’t feel right to not post Ben and Kelly’s love story!

About the Couple

In 2018 Kelly and Ben were set up on a blind date by Ben’s cousin who happened to also be a friend of Kelly’s. (shoutout to Jen!) Kelly carried 100% of the conversation on the first date. This is no surprise to anyone that knows the two of them. Their first date was at a bar in Milwaukee which happened to be giving away tickets to the Packer game the following weekend. Ben’s name was drawn, date # 2 was secured, and the rest is history.

The Engagement

Before meeting Kelly, Ben and his dad had already begun flipping the family farm house. The house was stripped down to the 2 X 4s. Kelly and Ben spent many days dreaming of what the house would turn into one day.

Following Christmas Eve church service in 2020, Ben took Kelly to the house. Confused, because the house had no electricity, heat, walls, etc. she was wondering why they needed to go there. Ben told her some line, which she believed, and got her up to the future master bedroom space. With a click of a button, the 2X4’s were now sparkling with colorful christmas lights. The whole room was glowing. They sat and cried and dreamed on the dusty floor of their unfinished house that would soon become their home.

The Big Day

It was a PARTY. 300 for dinner and another 100+ for the dance and reception. For them, there was no better feeling in the world than being surrounded by their friends and family. They felt extremely blessed and overwhelmed by the love, support, and celebration that day.

As most couples say, it flew by in the blink of an eye. It was the most perfect day that neither of them will forget.
